7 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 25: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of seven new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, six in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2625 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1081 and Kargil: 1544 were found negative.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday, four from Leh and two from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 68; 53 in Leh and 15 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 2372 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 170 and 695 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
