7 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 4 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 10: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seven new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, six in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2162 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 927 and Kargil: 1235 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday and all the patients were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 72; 54 in Leh and 18 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2087 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 119 and 373 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
