    61 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 139 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 08: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 61 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 58 reports were reported in Leh and three in Kargil. While, a total of 2201 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1746 and Kargil: 455 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 139 patients yesterday. Out of which 119 patients were discharged in Leh and 20 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1011; 843 in Leh and 168 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 638 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 210 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 251 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
