6 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh

Leh, Sept.22: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, six positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday from Leh. While a total of 2253 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1055 and Kargil: 1198 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 144; 140 in Leh and 4 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1543 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 640 and 878 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
