6 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh; 20 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 14: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, six new positive sample reports of Covid-19 was received yesterday and all the cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 1770 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 843 and Kargil: 927 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 20 patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 73; 53 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2398 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 62 and 334 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
