6 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 9 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 17: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of six new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two in Leh and four in Kargil. While a total of 2799 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1337 and Kargil: 1462 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday, five in Leh and four in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 105; 79 in Leh and 26 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2221 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 204 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post and 626 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
