    58 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 31 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 29: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 58 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 56 were reported in Leh and two in Kargil. While, a total of 4375 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 2548 and Kargil: 1827 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 31 patients yesterday. Out of which 22 patients were discharged in Leh and nine in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 308; 263 in Leh and 45 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1431 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 386 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 872 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
