    55 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 71 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 10: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 55 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 40 were reported in Leh and 15 in Kargil. While, a total of 2190 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1609 and Kargil: 581 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 71 patients yesterday. Out of which 49 patients were discharged in Leh and 22 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 925; 767 in Leh and 158 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 808 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 139 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 219 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
