5 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh;8 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sept.06: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 5 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday in Leh. While a total of 1395 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 500 and Kargil: 895 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 8 patients yesterday, four were discharged from Leh and four from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 54; 50 in Leh and 4 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1869 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 488 and 790 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
