5 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh;7 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sept.05: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 5 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday in Leh. While a total of 1541 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 719 and Kargil: 822 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 7 patients yesterday, three were discharged from Leh and four from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 57; 49 in Leh and 8 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2479 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 415 and 530 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
