5 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh;11 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sept.07: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 5 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two in Leh and three in Kargil. While a total of 1991 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 804 and Kargil: 1187 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 11 patients yesterday from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 48; 41 in Leh and 7 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1415 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 323 and 409 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
