5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 7 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sep 1: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, all five in Leh . While a total of 1909 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 792 and Kargil: 1117 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged seven patients yesterday, seven were discharged from Leh. All of them were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 69; 49 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1390 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 87 and 409 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
