5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, and all five were in Leh. While a total of 3019 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1116 and Kargil: 1903 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged five patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is at 70; 58 in Leh and 12 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1286 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 57 and 612 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
