    4 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 7 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 22: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of four new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two each in Leh and in Kargil districts. While a total of 2192 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1102 and Kargil: 1090 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged seven patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 91; 71 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 2023 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 76 and 803 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
