4 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of four new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, three in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2630 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 641 and Kargil: 1989 were found negative.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged five patients yesterday, all of them were from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 67; 51 in Leh and 16 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 2228 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 116 and 295 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
