4 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 4 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Aug 31: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, four new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two each in Leh and Kargil. While a total of 2122 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 780 and Kargil: 1338 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday, two were discharged from Leh and two from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 71; 51 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1301 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 108 and 418 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
