    4 deaths; 141 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 145 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 141 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 111 reports were received by CMO Leh and 30 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. While, out of the total 3241 samples tested in UT Ladakh yesterday (Leh: 2003, Kargil: 1238), 3096 samples (Leh: 1888, Kargil: 1208) were found negative.

    UT Ladakh reports the death of four patients from Covid-19 yesterday; three in Leh and one in Kargil district. The total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 185; 135 in Leh and 50 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 145 patients yesterday. Out of which 113 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 32 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1656; 1438 in Leh district and 218 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 390 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 56 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post and 238 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post yesterday.
