324 Nepali citizens receive Covid-19 jabs

Leh, June 17: District Administration, Leh has commenced the Covid-19 vaccination for Nepali citizens. In this drive, 324 Nepali citizens aged between 18 to 45 received the first dose of vaccine at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Khaltsi.

BMO Khaltsi, Dr Iqbal Ahmad, other concerned doctors and paramedical staff supervised the inoculation drive.

Similarly, a vaccination drive for Nepali citizens took place at CHC Skurbuchan and PHC Saspol.

Meanwhile, 638 samples were collected for the Covid-19 test, including 528 non-locals and 110 locals, by a team of PHC Nyoma under BMO, Dr Chamba Laskit. Samples were collected from Chumathang to Liktsey villages of the Rong area.
