3 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 19: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, three new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 617 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 214 and Kargil: 400 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged five patients yesterday and all were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 34; 33 in Leh and 1 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 905 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 246 and 35 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
