3 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 24: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, three new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 319 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh:216 and Kargil: 100 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged five patients yesterday by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 38; all 37 in Leh and 1 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 811 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 54 and 08 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
