3 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 7 patients cured and discharged

Leh, October 3: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, three new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 565 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 316 and Kargil: 249 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged seven patients yesterday, all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 64; 59 in Leh and 5 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2189 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 640 and 238 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
