3 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 12 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, three new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 1771 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 940 and Kargil: 831 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 12 patients yesterday, nine from Leh and three from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 72; 65 in Leh and seven in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1223 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 65 and 306 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
