    3 deaths; 131 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 211 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 23: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 131 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 108 reports were received by CMO Leh and 23 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    With the death of three patients from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 176; 128 in Leh and 48 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 211 patients yesterday. Out of which 176 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 35 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1516; 1280 in Leh district and 236 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 338 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 37 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Friday and 123 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Friday.
