3 deaths; 109 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 106 patients cured and discharged

Leh, May 14: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 109 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 86 reports were received by CMO Leh and 23 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

With the death of three patients from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 161; 117 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 106 patients yesterday. Out of which 82 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 24 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is at 1547; 1279 in Leh district and 268 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 147 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 48 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Wednesday.
