3 day interschool sports tournament by Youth Services & Sports Department kick starts at Zanskar

KARGIL, AUGUST 31, 2021: Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Sonam Dorjay kick started 3 day interschool tournament at Padum here on Monday.
The sports tournament has been organized by the District Youth Services and Sports Department Kargil under Khelo India Sports for Peace and Development.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kargil Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma, Zonal Physical Education Officer Zanskar Tsering Tashi besides other officers were present on the occasion.
Around 150 students from 2 higher secondary schools, 5 high schools and 2 middle schools are participating in the tournament featuring various sporting and athletic events in volley ball, khokho, short put and long jump.
The final of the tournament is scheduled to be held on September 1, 2021.
