    21 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 33 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 27: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 21 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 was received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 18 were reported in Leh and three in Kargil. While a total of 2844 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1910 and Kargil: 934 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 33 patients yesterday. Out of which 23 patients were discharged in Leh and 10 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 281; 219 in Leh and 62 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1533 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 418 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 536 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
