20 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 04: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 20 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday and all were reported in Leh. While a total of 1991 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 938 and Kargil: 1053 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 71; 67 in Leh and four in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2007 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 162 and 403 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
