2 deaths; 5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 21 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 05: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, three were reported in Leh and two in Kargil. While, a total of 2041 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1117 and Kargil: 924 were found negative yesterday.
With the death of two patients from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 204; 146 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 21 patients yesterday. And all the patients were discharged in Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 226; 190 in Leh and 36 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1929 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 186 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 1240 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
