    2 deaths; 130 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 122 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 24: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 130 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 118 reports were received by CMO Leh and 12 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    With the death of two patients from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 178; 130 in Leh and 48 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 122 patients yesterday. Out of which 92 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 30 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1522; 1304 in Leh district and 218 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 307 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 82 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Saturday and 88 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Saturday.
