1st Ladakh Cross Country Athletics Championship to be held on March 10 Selected athletes to participate in Cross-Country Race at Nagaland

KARGIL, MARCH 08, 2022: To select athletes for Cross Country Race on National level at Mohima Nagaland, District Kargil Administration is going to conduct the 1st Ladakh Cross Country Athletics Championship on March 10, 2022.
In this regard, a meeting was held at District Informatics Centre, Kargil where Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul Ghaffar Zargar, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma, Executive Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control, Muhammad Hassan, Executive Officer Municipal Committee, Shafaqat Hussain, Assistant Director Information, Padma Angmo, Station House Officer Kargil Manzoor Ahmad among others attended the meeting.
For the selection, the Ladakh Cross Country Athletics Championship will be held on March 10, 2022, under various age groups which include above 20, under 20, under 18 and under 16 for both males and females. The race will begin from Gramthang to Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium, Kargil.
The meeting discussed various arrangements like route and traffic management, ambulance and medical assistance, transportation of athletes from beginning point etc.
The first three from all groups will be chosen for the next round of selection. The national Athletics for Cross Country Race will be held on the National level at Mohima Nagaland on March 26, 2022.
