    17 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 105 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 14: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 17 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 16 were reported in Leh and one in Kargil. While, a total of 2651 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1972 and Kargil: 679 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 105 patients yesterday. Out of which 91 patients were discharged in Leh and 14 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 658; 538 in Leh and 120 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1023 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 234 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 271 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
