    152 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 159 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Apr 24: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 152 positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 146 reports were received by CMO Leh and six positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 159 patients yesterday. Out of which 148 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 11 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 2034; 1937 in Leh district and 97 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 1229 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 42 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Thursday and 24 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at screening point Upshi on Thursday.
