    14 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Aug 29: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 14 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, 13 in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 1453 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 855 and Kargil: 598 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 72; 52 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1993 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 97 and 239 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
