    130 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 134 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 18: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 130 positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 104 reports were received by CMO Leh and 26 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 134 patients yesterday. Out of which 94 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 40 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1542; 1277 in Leh district and 265 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 360 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 68 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Sunday and 80 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Sunday.
