12 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 4 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 08: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, twelve new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, all twelve in Leh. While a total of 1003 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 325 and Kargil: 666 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday, all four were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 57; 54 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1197 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 110 and 252 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
