10 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh; 1 patient cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 22: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, ten new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of which 9 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 1 by CMO Kargil. While a total of 623 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh:256 and Kargil: 257 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged one patient yesterday and one was discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 43; all 42 in Leh district and 1 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 896 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 402 and 2 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
