10 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 4 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 01: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 10 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, nine in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2008 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1299 and Kargil: 709 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged four patients yesterday, two each from Leh and Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 56; 51 in Leh and five in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2299 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 56 and 375 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
