10 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 2 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 12: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, ten new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday and all the cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 2287 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1212 and Kargil: 1075 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged two patients yesterday, both were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 82; 63 in Leh and 19 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1594 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 64 and 372 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
