    1 death; 50 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 135 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 15: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 50 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 36 were reported in Leh and 14 in Kargil. While, a total of 3652 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1915 and Kargil: 1737 were found negative yesterday.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 198; 143 in Leh and 55 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 135 patients yesterday. Out of which 128 patients were discharged in Leh and seven in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 572; 446 in Leh and 126 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 769 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 269 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 389 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
