    1 death, 5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 20 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 24: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, and all the cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 2822 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1145 and Kargil: 1677 were found negative.

    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 207; 149 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 20 patients yesterday, 19 from Leh and one from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 67; 51 in Leh and 16 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 1896 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 129 and 287 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
