    1 death; 243 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 147 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 13: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 243 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 171 reports were received by CMO Leh and 72 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 158; 114 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 147 patients yesterday. Out of which 104 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 43 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1547; 1278 in Leh district and 269 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 237 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 30 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Tuesday.
