    1 death; 22 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 90 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 22 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 21 were reported in Leh and one in Kargil. While, a total of 2696 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 2051 and Kargil: 645 were found negative yesterday.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 202; 144 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 90 patients yesterday. Out of which 77 patients were discharged in Leh and 13 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 363; 260 in Leh and 103 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1448 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 463 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 583 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
