    1 death; 22 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 77 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 18: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 22 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 11 were reported in Leh and 11 in Kargil. While, a total of 3206 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 2176 and Kargil: 1030 were found negative yesterday.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 200; 143 in Leh and 57 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 77 patients yesterday. Out of which 63 patients were discharged in Leh and 14 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 482; 348 in Leh and 134 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1093 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 328 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 330 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
