    1 death; 165 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 105 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 01: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 165 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 147 reports were received by CMO Leh and 18 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. While, a total of 2958 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1872 and Kargil: 1086 were found negative.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 189; 136 in Leh and 53 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 105 patients yesterday. Out of which 94 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 11 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1614; 1395 in Leh district and 219 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 612 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 118 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 141 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post
