    1 death; 121 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 110 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 22: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 121 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 97 reports were received by CMO Leh and 24 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 173; 125 in Leh and 48 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 110 patients yesterday. Out of which 84 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 26 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1599; 1351 in Leh district and 248 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 340 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 54 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Thursday and 136 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Thursday.
