    1 death; 12 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 59 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 09: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 12 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday six each in Leh and Kargil. While, a total of 2324 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1127 and Kargil: 1197 were found negative yesterday.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 205; 147 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 59 patients yesterday. Out of which 56 patients were discharged in Leh and three in Kargil. With this the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 135; 100 in Leh and 35 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1860 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 111 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 786 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
