    1 death; 107 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 106 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 107 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 82 reports were received by CMO Leh and 25 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 172; 124 in Leh and 48 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 106 patients yesterday. Out of which 70 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 36 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is at 1589; 1339 in Leh district and 250 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 236 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 49 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Wednesday and 103 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Wednesday.
